If true, the NCAA and B1G should append that rule for the PSU kids, and allow them to play immediately w/o sitting out a year.
they do that sometimes, and in this case i would assume it's a no brainer

That is the Big10 rule, where you can't transfer in conference and get a scholarship.

I'd assume a 100% chance that the NCAA grants PSU players carte blanche to transfer free of penalty, and the Big10 follows suit within the conference.

This case is spectacularly/horrifically like none other seen in all of sports. There simply is no precedence for this kind of stuff.

I've been thinking about the likelihood that this sex ring angle could be true, and the more I think about it, the more I think it has viability.

Think about what kind of people gravitate toward organizations where the prey is available. Again, I unfortunately researched a lot of this in the past, but one of the warnings the authorities point out is that the underground network of pedophilia is a thriving and efficient one. It's rife with men who volunteer to be cub scout leaders, volunteers, etc where young boys are present and sports is number one. A guy like Sandusky, who's connected to the Second Mile, hell he started it, surely was/is connected to that underground network. College football attracts all types of boosters, 99% of which are probably normal alumni who just love their school.

So if a guy like Sandusky, married, involved with boys, has access to other men like this, there's a chance that a percentage of PSU booster, albeit small (even if it's 5%) may be like-minded. Let's say only ONE of the boosters is a pedophile. If he lets ONE more pedophile OUTSIDE the PSU circle know, that message spreads to that network like wildfire.

Not to paint ALL volunteers with the same brush, but I have 4 kids and one is a boy. I can tell you that after what happened to me I became the most suspicious, cynical mofo you'd ever want to meet about cub scout leaders, coaches, teachers et al. I learned to search out who was coaching my kids. I asked the head coach, "Who's this assistant you've got, this Mark guy?"
"Oh, he's just a volunteer. Loves coaching, played soccer in high school."
    Really?

Turned out the guy was OK, but those are the warning signs you need to look for. The orgs like NAMBLA encourage their "members" to seek out positions as coaching. As parents get busier, people let their guard down when someone else will donate their time. They tell their members this is the last frontier for finding new blood.

Well when you think about Sandusky sets up a foundation to get access to the kids so that he can use his position at PSU to get even more availability to them, to do that takes a real deep seeded level of evil that it would not surprise me to see this as the tip of a bigger iceberg.
