Decided to list him in football because:
From The Detroit News: http://detnews.com/article/20110929/...#ixzz1ZMsZbWhdSam Webb: Let's talk about some young guys. Grand Rapids Christian wide receiver Drake Harris is one of the top prospects in the class of 2014 in both football and basketball. He also grew up a Michigan State fan. How do the Spartans stack up with him with him at this point?
Allen Trieu: I went out to see him recently and going into the game people around Grand Rapids were telling me that he was just as good, maybe a better football prospect than he was basketball. I went in taking that with a grain of salt, but I came out of it seeing what everybody was talking about it. He is a high BCS-caliber football prospect with good size, speed, athleticism. He has everything you would want in a receiver prospect. He definitely can play either sport or both in college potentially. It just so happened that the night I was out there that Tom Izzo was there also. Drake and his dad have both said that Michigan State has told him that he could play both sports. In fact they told him he should play both sports. On a recent visit to Michigan State he got a chance to talk to Coach Dantonio and some of the other football coaches. Michigan State sits in really good position for him. He is a kid like Matt Trannon a few years back who could be a wide receiver and contributor on the basketball team also.
