I don't see Plax getting a ton of catches. Red zone for sure, as he's a big target. But, I think Mason will still be a decent WR for the Jets.

Just actually made a quick tweak to my roster. Dropped Doucet and picked up Brandon Gibson. He'll get some catches in St. Louis. Teams will look to Sims-Walker and that could get some balls thrown Gibson's way. They also have him listed at the #1 WR on the Rams chart. Seemed like an easy move to make in my mind.
Gibson started 12 games last season and served as the team's de facto top outside wideout. But he also struggled with dropped passes while benefiting from injuries to Donnie Avery and Mark Clayton. With Danario Alexander, Mike Sims-Walker and rookies Greg Salas and Austin Pettis in the mix as well, the path to fantasy relevance for Gibson is cluttered.

And they also just re-signed Clayton who is reportedly full recovered from his injury.

yeah jdc, hate to say it but none of those WRs have any upside at all. the best you can hope for from any of those guys is a ballpark of like 600 yards and 3 tds on the year. and thats assuming everything falls perfectly into place for them.

Hell, he may not be a WR but Nelson is also behind TE Jermichael Finley in the pecking order now. at best he is rodger's 5th target. thats not even fantasy spot starting material IMO.

Danny Amendola too. Not a star or anything but the dude had like 80 catches last year.

Gaffney was fantasy's No. 45 wideout last year, but that was with Josh McDaniels calling a whole lot of passes in Denver. The Redskins traded for Gaffney in late July, and considering the fact that Santana Moss, Leonard Hankerson and Anthony Armstrong are already on hand, it's hard to see a repeat performance for the vagabond veteran. He's best suited to play out of the slot, and that's Moss' territory.

ESPN has him projected for 68 pts this season.

Yep, looks like they forgot about him. ON a brighter note, looks like they release Donnie Avery and Clayton isn't quite ready and is on the PUP list. Won't be ready until Wk 7.

JDC, post the 20 best available WRs on the waiver wire right now based on projected points on the season. I;m curious who is available. there have to be some better options than the retreads you are throwing out who will be lucky to crack 500 yards.

I gotta figure out my #3 WR. Fitz and MSW are my #1 and #2 as is stands now.

Thinking Jacoby Ford would fit the bill nicely in that trade, just still not sure on giving up Hightower.

In my main league (12 team keeper) only Nelson is on someone's roster right now and honestly, I have no idea why. There are better options on the wire IMO.

Jacoby Jones is a little bit of a mystery but still should be better than any of those 4 also. No one is quite sure if he will finally be the #2 in HOU or remain the #3. Still he will do more than those others.
