Was named as one of the stadouts at this weekend's Nike SPARQ combine in Massilon, OH.
Jon Reschke, LB, Brother Rice (Sterling Heights, Mich.)
An outstanding player who earned honorable mention all-state honors this past fall after totaling 130 tackles, the Michigan State commit finished the day with a solid 95.40 SPARQ rating. The 6-foot-2, 224-pound 'backer produced a 4.80 40, 4.25 shuttle, jumped 31.8 inches in the vertical and threw the power ball 35 feet.

Apparently offered by UM over the weekend. No idea if it means anything, as I've always thought he was very strongly committed to MSU.
He didn't already have an offer? Why would they offer an MSU legacy recruit this late?
Reschke not enjoying MSU? Hoke looking to deliver the ultimate F-U! to Dantonio? M linebacker recruit looking around? (So far all the analysts say no). Desmond Morgan career finished by concussions? (Possible?)
The strangest development in a long while.
No reason to suddenly offer a kid that had no reciprocal interest. I saw Sparty laughing about this over at their message board, I would not be so sure there is not something to this.
