He actually ended up there this morning, but left for EL before the afternoon session. This is per Rico Beard who is at the event and spoke to Lyles this morning. I have no idea about a commitment, but I don't think the coaches would have him up there if they weren't going to offer.

Is that some type of MSU/Dantonio thing, where he has to have you leave a camp and come up to campus, in order to get an offer? Couldn't they have just offered him at the SMSB event, I am sure MD and other MSU coaches were there, right?

Beiliein does this for basketball and Carr was known to do it, too.

U-M did it under Rodriguez for select prospects as well.

I want to say yes, but I have no idea about the details. Maybe he wanted to meet with the family. Maybe its the only time the coaches could do it. Who knows.

Not sure about neutral camps like this, but MSU offers kids at their camp all the time.

Yeah, I thought that was the purpose of these camps. (evaluation too, but offers are the real nugget for the players)
