Correct. He blossomed very early, many thought he'd be a top player in the class of 2012 a couple of years ago. However, he didn't blow up into the national prospect that people expected.

He's a nice prospect who is pretty dominant on both sides of the ball for his HS team, but when you are trying to compile a top class nationally this isn't a kid you take early.

If Michigan lands Gant tomorrow, they've got 12 spots to get 7-8 four-stars to secure what would usually be a top 10 class.

No. 12 spots would get them to a class of 25. 15 to the B1G limit of 28.
