    Yeah, I'm not sure "how many" fans are expecting him to come in a start right away. I think your drawing some conclusions on your own.

    Most Michigan fans I talk to, would be somewhat on the disappointed side, because that would mean Devin Gardner is a failure, and would not be the starter in his Senior season (and potentially beyond if he gets his redshirt).

    But I do know that many UM fans have high expectations for him over his career, and especially once he is a junior/Senior.

    I've always held high regard for Morris, and he definitely earned the bid, but in honesty he could have been terrible and still got an E11 invite. Zeke Pike from last years class is a perfect example. Ratings can sometimes drive these selections.
