I think the plan is for him to attend prep school for a semester in the fall of 2012 and then make himself eligible to enroll January 2013.

I think that'd be the plan regardless of where he attended, because he just won't get into anywhere right off the bat. As his academics sit now, apparently, his only option would be junior college. However, if he can improve his grades enough to where he is only a few ACT points or a few core classes from qualifying -- then he can go the prep school route.

Obviously the prep school route is pretty much his only way of attending Michigan.

Shame these kids don't work as hard in the classroom. No one is asking them to be nerds...still think how great it would have been to see Demar Dorsey in the Michigan Defensive backfield...SMH

Just out of curiosity, what do you need in terms of GPA and ACT to get into UM as a football player? Like, what's the minimum?

I'm pretty sure the minimum requirements are the same as everywhere else...2.0GPA and 17ACT. Now, whether the staff makes it their policy to only accept kids with certain academic qualifications, that's a different story.

Michigan is going through a phase where they will only take chances on 1-2 of these kinds of risks a year. Really have cut down from RR-Pre RR days.
