OSU took 4 LBs in the '11 class, so word is that they are only taking 2 this year. They already have a commitment from one (Josh Perry), so they are being VERY selective on who they offer. Deaysean Rippy and James Ross are the next 2 on the pecking order, and odds are pretty damn good they get a commitment from at least one of those (most likely Rippy). Is Ringer good enough to get an OSU offer? Probably, but unfortunately he is just coming out in the wrong year. OSU guys like him a lot, but they say he is around 5th on the pecking order right now as far as offers are concerned.
Sounds like he will commit to Michigan around the Spring Game in April. Of course as J2B said, if OSU offers he will most likely pick that trash heap down south.
