I thought I read on here maybe in the '11 thread that said Deback really liked MSU. Youthink Jabari Dean and Latta go out of state with MSU offers too? I know its your opinion but it sounds like you know what you are talking about. Latta does seem like he might go out of state.

Anyone know when Dantonio is hiring Treadwells replacement. I know it will be in house but he still needs a WR coach, right? He needs to hire someone who like to recruit. I dont blame the coaches that dont like to recruit but too many of the best players left the state this year.

SMAG mods are saying that Reggie Mitchell's name has continued to come up for the WR coach position. If true, MSU has themselves a bonafied recruiting badass to replace Enos.

Probably the best recruiter at MSU in the last decade (which really isn't saying much). He's got pretty good connections in Michigan still and is very good at recruiting the Illinois area (was the primary recruiter for Richardson and Roland Martin). He left around the time JLS got hired and went to Illinois, where he was the primary recruiter for Benn and a couple of the other most mysterious high profile recruits to go to Illinois (IIRC at least). Left Illinois when/right before Zook cleaned house and went to Kansas. Very good recruiter, think he's supposed to be at least a competent WR coach. Would be a very good hire at WR imo.

Sounds pretty good, would be nice for them to land someone to make up for the loss of Enos, they still need a lot of help recruiting.

I always wondered how Zook managed to get Benn amongst others to go to Illinois, I always assumed it was shady stuff but sounds like this guy is the real deal.

IF Dean gets a MSU offer, I do believe he will go....At this point and time, I really dont know if he is more than a MAC player...I know nothing of Latta, so I cant really comment on him

State has a lot of decent recruiters, but no great ones. They need a guy that can come in and close the deal, and Mitchell is that guy.

Mitchell would be a great guy to bring in, he is all about recruiting. Interesting to see how it all pans out in the next few weeks after tomorrow.
