Same thing I said about the MSU clock.

Dumb gimmick. Like these games sneak up on you? Set aside specific time to prepare for those games all through the season, keep it top of mind. But a clock? Weak.

So OSU invented the concept of putting a rivalry clock in the locker room? I highly doubt it. Its one of those things that, just because you choose to do it, doesn't mean you are necessarily copying anything. If we wore special uniforms for our rivalry games, would we be copying OSU too? No, because its been done, and will continue to be done by more than one team. I don't understand what the big deal is. It may be a gimmick, but the players see that thing every single day. Otherwise, I doubt they think about OSU/MSU every time they strap on pads, which they should. I'm not sure why you think UM is above something like this. They are 1-7 in the last 4 years. One would think you'd be willing to try anything at this point.
