First…I have been the biggest advocate for the Henne better then Stanton campaign. Looking at numbers and the history of their short careers, I felt that Chad was a better QB. It appears I was wrong in my assessment. I would have never guessed that Chad would have played like he did this past Saturday. His passes were Navarre-like. He was locked on one receiver on most of his drops, and just looked like a freshman that was in way over his head. I am still in awe that someone can play like he did all last season, going into Columbus (even with a loss) and playing in the Rose Bowl to buckle like he did on Saturday was shocking and jaw dropping. Up to this point of the season Drew Stanton is the better QB of the two, and so far, after last game it isn’t even close. I have no problem admitting that today. Fact of the matter is, Drew has outplayed Henne way beyond my expectations. I stand corrected.
Next, TO ALL THE MICHIGAN FANS THAT ATTENDS THE GAMES, AND CALL IN TALK RADIO. I think 90% of you are IDIOTS! First the fans at the games and the alumni; to write a letter to the student body to “sit down” more at the game are absolutely a disgrace. For you to call yourself fans and to complain when your students are trying to rally the team, I wish your tickets would be revoked! I go to the majority of the games, and I do my best to get all you arrogant duche bags to at least show a pulse. It is a joke, and then you argue how great the Big House is…I would rather have the big house filled with 25,000 Grand Valley State fans that would die for their football team, then be stuck at another game with 111,000 Michigan fans that would rather look good at the games with their “alumni” rings then cheer for your team. It makes me sick that any area BW3’s is a louder environment then any game at the Big House. Don’t get me wrong, I love the stadium and I love the fact it is the biggest stadium in the nation, but the alumni that goes to the game does not deserve it. Hold your argument for the “engineering” of the stadium is why it is so quiet. Yeah, that doesn’t help, but look around next game you are at! The 5000 ND fans last game were more noticeable then the 105000 Michigan fans!
For everyone calling in the radio today (I just listened to Beligan because he was talking college football…) saying all this crap that you are sick of losing like this. We cannot win every **** game. Yeah, there were a few plays that lost us the game…THAT IS HOW GAMES ARE LOST! You cannot continue to expect to go 12-0 every year, it just does not happen. If you want to argue about Lloyd please refer to the last article I posted about him. Then you come with the argument that “we should play for the National Title every 3 years” well morons…We played USC two years ago, WHO WAS THE NTL CHAMP, and if we would have beat Texas last year we would have ended up 2-3rd in the nation!
For the idiots that think I am ducking the heat on here...I try to be on here as much as I can. Regardless if Mike doesn’t want me on here, if you all say I am the most hated person on here and are sick of reading my BS, IGNORE ME. This weekend was a busy mess for me with UM ND along with the Lions opening. Mixed in with a Saturday night. Sorry, I haven’t been on here to write extensively on how much UM sucked. I am not ducking or deleting anything… That would be the most cowardly asinine thing that I could do. Believe what you want.
I am still behind Michigan, I am glad that Ohio St and Iowa lost, helps us a little. I am glad that it WAS ND that beat us and not Wisconsin. The loss is out of the way, everyone is talking crap about Henne now along with Breaston and the rest of the offense. We will see what type of guys they are now with everyone really doubting them. Maybe ND is for real, we will see this weekend. If they are, good, beat the hell out of Purdue.
Basically, the D showed up in the second half so we know they can play. If Henne struggles, Matt better be ready. I think every Michigan fan and State fan that watched that game knows now how important Michael Hart is. A lot more then I thought…
