WOW! I have always had a feeling they were going to find some sucker to take Bynum and that mammoth salary.

If they pull this off, I'll lose it.

If you look at it, this could add a couple years to Kobe's career. He's been killin' himself this year to try to continue playing at the highest level possible.

Word is they're boys. I'm thinking he would. This isn't 04-05 Kobe we're talking about. When he goes into Hog Mode now, it's because nobody else is doing anything. I think this would me more of a "seamless transition" type of thing for when Kobe decides to retire.

Plus, if the 08 Olympics are any indication, he was fine letting Melo, Bron and Wade have the first 85 percent of the game and playing Mariano Rivera.

Only thing I'm concerned about is what all the pieces in the deal would be. Would it just be straight up? Would they take Ron Ron's deal and or could they throw the money from the trade exception they have for Sasha in there?

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

This isn't Young Kobe who thought he had to fight with Shaq to show he's the man. Kobe knows he the man now. He's one of the 10 best players ever. Nobody can take that from him. Doing this deal would add a couple years to his career because he could defer on nights. I know he should be doing that with Pau, but Melo is much more like to just TAKE the reins than Pau is or ever will be.
