I think Godin will be a DT...He has a motor just like Martin, imo....You may be right on O'Brien...But I dont think Michigan will go hard at him for some reason...Maybe im 100% wrong..
I also cant see Michigan taking that many...I dont think they ever have taken that many..Also, MSU is a much better place than it used to be as far as being a good program
"People who drink light "beer" don't like the taste of beer; they just like to pee a lot."
Michigan State offered a DT Jaleel Johnson from Illinois at their Junior Day.
That was a fantastic offer. That kid is very good and being his first offer positions them well to battle for him down the stretch.
So who does everyone think will be the top player in this class? Ross?
FIRE LEYLAND
Danny O'Brien did not transfer from Powers to CC. Also, IF he stays in-state, he will go to UM. He is very high on Tennessee right now. There is obviously plenty of time for things to change.
MSU is recruiting Godin as DE or DT, preferably a DT. Oklahoma is the only school recruiting him as an OT.
Both of them are just elite, 250 type defenders. Michigan needs to land them.
Things could move quickly with Michigan's 2012 class if Hoke plays this right. That is, hold a junior day by the end of the month. Offer the kids that deserve them in-state (RJS, Richardson, Godin, Burbidge, O'Brien, Ross, Norfleet). Michigan may have already offered these guys, but Michigan needs to cement these offers and make these prospects know that Michigan still wants them badly. Then they've got a guy like Jordan Diamond who would commit if they held a junior day that went well...
