With AMC's The Walking Dead hitting a series ratings high with last Sunday's 'Wildfire' episode you would have thought the writing staff would own the most secure jobs on the planet.
Not so according to Deadline who reports series showrunner Frank Darabont put on his "Grinch" hat and fired the writers of the hit new show. As in all of them, including his executive producer Charles Eglee.

It'll keep things fresh, but I imagine he'd have to micromanage the sh!t out of them so characters aren't schizophrenic from episode to episode.

I thought it was a little anticlimatic.

I know the explosion was "exciting", but I thought there ahould ahve been something else at the end to kind of hook you for the next season.
I guess them pulling away, with no where really to go could be it, but it had the feeling to me of a show ending, thats not sure if it's coming back.
