The falloff between Eli and Shaub is marginal. If Shaub can get you Austin or White I'd take it. Preferrably Austin.

    Dominates huh?

    In 2009

    Eli... 4021 yds, 27td, 14 int
    Shaub.. 4770 yds, 29td, 15 int

You saying you wouldnt take that falloff for a top 10 (probably 5) receiver. I made my point in another thread that I wouldnt trade for Eli, but from NNWMU's perspective I like the deal.

That was one year. Eli never did that before '09, even when his team was really good. Whenever Schaub has been healthy, he's put up great numbers, and that was even when he was on a mediocre team

What Juicy said. You want Schaub. You can try to trade Eli for White or Austin, but I don't think there's any chance in hell he takes that unless you sweeten the deal.

and i hate the argument: "this equated to 3pts per game if you look at it over the course of the year..."

NO, Shaub is better...there will be games where he has 20pts, and others where he gets 40pts...you need the big play QB, and it's Shaub...he's going to win a game for you because of his numbers...my opinion...

Why because its the truth? Austin will also put up 20/25 point games from the WR spot which would have otherwise been filled with your 3rd/4th reciever.

The variation between Shaub and Eli vs Austin and 3rd WR makes this worth it.

Last I checked miles has had one good season and never averaged 20+ points a game in fantasy.

The comment was in response to Shaub having breakout games... just highlighting that Austin will as well.
