Hopefully none of you jokers are in my league but of the propaganda I've read so far it appears people are liking Gardner, the WR from Carolina alot because of his size vs the rest of their receivers and Tatum Bell of Denver (Which I don't understand).
Who are the biggest one's you've heard of so far granted it's still fairly early on yet.
Another question, where do you think Kevin Jones is in the mix? He doesn't seem to be getting alot of play nationally as a top guy. I'm thinking about drafting him either late first or for sure early second depending on where my pick is going to be.
Thanks.
Any thoughts on J.J. Arrington in Arizona? Could be a decent mid to late selection in keeper leagues.
Rod is a joke...I eccho what Valenti said...every year this guy is supposed to break out and do soemthing...never does. Tatum Bell...Watch out for him...this guy has CRAZY speed (4.31 at OSU if I remember correctly) he is very shifty and is going to be the #1 guy in Denver this year...and you know what that means...1000+Originally Posted by gebu40
I am looking at taking KJ early...However, I love the guy back to him at Va Tech...so with that I know I will take him early just cause lol. I would honestly say that only backs that I would take over him are:
LT
Alexander
MAYBE Willis Mcgahee
MAYBE Duce

I know he's not a sleeper, but Donald Driver. Always has great numbers but is overshadowed in Green Bay by Walker.
Brandon Stokely has always been a good one for me if you play in a 10-12 team league because you can get him really late and he's consistent.
I think the Lions D will be a sleeper D this year.
Jeb Putzier could be huge this year too.
I would say Kerry Collins would be a nice sleeper. He did well once he learned the offense last year and the Raider gained a good RB and a WR named....Moss...I think.
Got the draft in less then a week, I usually look to grab a solid QB in the 4th or 5th. I have "ended" up with Brady the past couple years which I was very happy with. Picking up Brees in week 3 or 4 last year was great. But this year I am looking at which QB can I grab in the 4th or 5th and feel confident. Is Warner back? Is Elli really going to click with Plax? Is it insane to mention Joey here? I am in a 10-12 team league and have yet to do any real research. At this point it looks like I am drafting last, still not sure if they are going to shuffle.
Any help?
Top Sleeper Candidates: (this is for big leagues 14+ teams.. not those sissy 8 to 12 player all-star leagues)
Reggie Williams, WR, Jax... Mike Anderson, RB, Den... Keary Colbert, WR, Car... Derrick Blalock, RB, NYJ... Melede Moore, RB, Min.

A name that hasn't been mentioned yet is Nate Burleson. Culpepper has to throw to someone, and I think the rookie might be a little too green.

I'm in a 16 team performance this season, and I think I'll probably take a chance on Williamson first because he has big-play ability. If that falls through I'm assuming I can snag up another Minnesota receiver to fill the hole.Originally Posted by rstrye27
I have a few sleepers here
David Carr- This will only come into fruition if Domanick Davis can blossom and be more effective.
Nate Burleson- Look @ who is throwing to him
Eric Shelton- DeShaun Foster's track record says this guy is gonna get some carries this year
Carson Palmer- Look no further than his 11 td's in his last 4 starts
Tatum Bell or Mike Anderson- Whichever guy wins this battle should be considered more than a sleeper
