I have a draft w one 2nite, ive never done one, any advice, I know linebackers are the best but what rd to I take one? does it matter? so i can wait until the last rds or should i go early to get a top flight player

no, but really, check out the leagues scoring last year. in my league there were a few defensive players in the top 50 scorers. my league has a d lineman, lb and defensive back. its a lot more fun than picking a defense.

This. Concentrate on ILBs for their tackles. Someone like Willis can average about 10-12 ppg in that system. Jon Beason too.

There will be DLs that will have HUGE games with a sack or two, a fumble recovery or return for a TD but they also can have weeks where they give you nothing. LBs offer very steady production.

I play in an IDP league and I took a risk and grabbed Willis in Round 6. 12 team league. As was pointed out, he can score you as much as a WR#2. Beason, Laurnitis, Posluzny, David Harris are also good ILBs to target.

Not really a risk. He is as sure of a bet as there is.

Only saying it was a risk in that I took him about a round or two too early but I had him targeted for like 2 weeks and it was part of my plan. He is no doubt a BEAST and a tackling machine. I have him, Boldin and Rogers with Benson as my key pieces in my big money league.
