The low-balling has spread to owner occupied's too.

Thought is you get people who are down on their luck sitting at a table with numbers in front of them, and you could lucky and get a deal.

Plus the Bank owned/short sale market is very competitive.

Got approved today for a second mortgage. A little less than I was hoping for, but more than enough to get a solid house. Time for home shopping.

Thanks Willie. We'll see....my house is so much nicer then what it was when we have moved in. The problem is the neighborhood that it is in its great, it has 1 full bath, and no basement. Outside of a newlywed couple in 2005 who naively thought they would buy the house as a starter home, fix it up and in a few years make a few bucks when they sell, who else is going to buy this house?

Alright I'm confused...you asked where about in Romeo so I replied north of 30 mile, less then 2 miles from the high school. It's not important that I'll be less then 2 miles from the high school, just used it as a rough reference.
