Do you think subbing Sheets for Oswalt makes this fair or am I still getting hosed.
well sheets has been picking up as late, i wouldnt move a top 3 or 4 SS in Tulo if i wasnt getting equal value in return, and Haren isnt a top 5 pitcher

    Doc, Bulter and Price

    Doc...top 3 pitcher so far
    Bulter...way underrated
    Price has been amazing

Sure giving up ryan howard sucks but IMO Doc and Price are the next 2 best players in the deal

    Brandon Phillips for Matt Cain?
Preseason ranks have Phillips about 50 spots higher than Cain, but Cain has been better through the year so far.

I still have Zobrist and Ian Stewart to play 2nd

If not i am going to try and get a closer. Any suggestions on a closer with comparable value to Phillips?

how did this trade work out for you?

right now, halladay is #3 pitcher, Price is #6, Billy butler is #14 1B.....(on espn)

Howard is #11 1B, liriano is #37, Hamels is #42.....

put like that, seemed like a no brainer...lol

hmm....Cain is decent, but you may be able to get a little more....phillips is not really playing well right now....saves are just one category, but if you could get Rauch....or Heath Bell.....Broxton maybe....zobrist's numbers should get better....

I tried for Verlander but he wasnt having it. The save stat is the biggest hole on my team (as in I dont get any)... Hoffman was just added yesterday as a hope an prayer.
    C - K. Suzuki
    1b - Pena , Adam LaRoache
2b - Phillips, Zobrist (OF, SS)
    3b - Jose Bautista (OF) , Ian Stewart (2b)
    ss - Tulowiski
OF - Bay, McClutchen, Kemp, Boesch, McClouth
    + 2 Utility Spots

SP - J. Shields, Oswalt, Sheets, Jhoulys Chacin, Correia, Moyer, Ely
    RP - Jaba, Zumaya, Hoffman

    hoffman lost his job....

try alfredo simon, or tim stauffer from san diego is an awesome mid-reliever when he comes back...also, evan Meek in Pitsburgh has been sneaky good lately...

you could DEF. upgrade your outfield....mclouth is expendable at this juncture...eric Hinske is everyday now in atlanta, and batting 368 with real high slg. pctge....

I should preface this by saying. 1- its was a stupid auto draft that resulted in me getting ZERO closers and 2 - its a 14 team league so all the closers are gone....

Hoffman just pitched a scoreless 8th yesterday and Axford was really shaky in the ninth for his 1st career save. I fully expect Hoffman to be back sooner than later.

McCouth scores runs and steals bases, as a sometimes player for my team he works just fine. Gotta remember that 9 out of team days its Bay, McClutchen and Kemp as OF with LaRoach and Bautista at Utility.

i figured it was deep...that's why i suggested stauffer in san diego, who only had 1 ER before he got injured...should be good in 2 weeks or so...and evan meek in pittsburgh platoons based on matchups, and has been pretty unhittable...

Picked up Meeks and dropped Chamberlin..... more innings, more Ks and less ERA and WHIP. Thanks.
