He'll never even have a chance as long as Lloyd Carr is the coach of Michigan. Carr is too conservative in his play calling and he lacks the affinity of running up the score...and stats late in ball games.

With the way they are using Hart in a more Marshall Faulk/Reggie Bush type of role, if Henne has numbers so will Hart, and Hart will receive more votes.

My opinion, but I liked the way UM utilized the Grady/Hart combo.

He at least deserves some consideration if Michigan keeps winning. I don't think Hart can win the heisman because Carr is going to split carries between Hart and Grady.

Not to rain on your parade, but against a week mid-major like NIU, Henne would have needed to post double those numbers to get serious Heisman attention..

Compare his performance to guys like Brady Quinn, Andre Woodson, Omar Jacobs and Blake Mitchell.. who face vastly superior teams.. OR what Leinhart, Shockley, Young or Leak did against weak sisters like Henne played.. its no comparison.

    Default Henne in 2006!

Henne will be a canidate for the heisman because he goes to Michigan and coah Carr will put him in a position to do well and he has a very good arm . P.S. I hate Mike CT is in the HOUSE!!!!!!

    Default No chance!

After what we saw on Saturday, there is no way, anyone from Michigan will win the heisman. Michigan will have to be undefeated or maybe a 1 loss team.
I just dont see it, that defense is scarey bad!!!!!!

Breaston dropped a few home runs from Henne. That hurt his stats. I know people are saying they were "overthrows," but if you get your hands on the ball, you should probably catch it, especially when you're as acclaimed as Breaston.

Yeah...I noticed that too... Breaston was MIA... At least he looked better than Devin Hester did last night! Gosh, did that guy have the worst game of his life.

This is the most untrue statement yet..They have been a 50/50 teams for the last 5 years and this year they will be running more spread offense than ever before...

By the way,to the person who put Quinns name in there,STOP.....

Agreed, these receivers could help Chad out a little more. I don't understand the fascination with Leinhart besides that he's the qb on the champs. He's got the best receivers, best o-line, and best back (Bush). Plus he's got a defense that makes stops and gives him lots of opportunities. Even though Michigan is loaded with talent, they don't have as much talent as USC, and I would argue that Chad has done more with less talent.
