IMO, an ultimatum in this situation to a mid-ranked recruit like this is just an act of desperation in landing him. Dantonio knows his chances are slipping and wants to make one last effort.

Very different from Bolden. Bolden's situation... MSU needed a QB in that class, if they didn't get one soon they were going to have to move onto Boisture.

And IF, and that a big IF, thats what he is doing can you really blame him? If he gets him good if not they probably wernt getting him anyways and they can move on to someone else.

The only problem with stuff like this is they never would do the same with a LT or Gholston...That is just another criticism I have in recruiting as a whole...I understand why they are doing it...It is what it is...

Why do you have a problem with this? Those kids are more talented and more important to the recruiting class. Lets face it, college football is not an equal opportunity employer. If you are more talented, you are going to be treated differently, and the same goes for business in the real world as well. These guys are given free educations to help a school win football games. Why would a kid who is less likely to do that be treated the same as someone who is more likely to do that? In the real world, I'm not going to offer a rockstar salesman the same opportunities as a guy who couldn't sell squat just because I think they both deserve an equal shot. Thats not realistic.

No not at all.

He officially decommited and is very open. Thought is its either Oregon(visiting this weekend) or Michigan. Florida did not seem to blow him away. MSU is still in it too but seems to be trailing

Get it right, Clark was climbing down a cliff into a cove with a safety rope. Dantonio pulled his rope up & threatened to leave him there unless he signed a letter of intent right there.

no definitely not getting that vibe at all, I think MSU would lead right now but thats a guess based on his coaches and his comments.

No, that isn't what happened with Bolden. I posted what happened to Bolden a few pages back, and it was verified by diehard (who has first hand knowledge of the situation). I'm sick of telling the story though, so I'm not going to post it here.
