So, who saw this on Starz last Friday night? Did you like it?
I thought it was pretty decent ... lots of blood and plenty of sex.
Here's the trailer for those of you not familiar with it...

“I’m definitely not about to let my team lose two games in a row to Michigan.
It’s just not going to happen. I’m not going to let my team do that."

My neighbor's brother is the producer of this. He (Robert Tapert) is married to Lucy Lawless and is Sam Raimi's partner. I saw it and thought it definitely took visual cue and is cashing in from 300, but less ****-erotic. As a man, I love seeing tastefully depicted love scenes, and this had a few good ones. The fighting and copious amounts of blood get old after a while, but other than that, I'll give it some time.

Looked like a ripoff of Gladiator to me.

FYI: If you have Starz On Demand you can watch Friday's new episode on Thursday nights (figured that out about a month ago).
IDK how many people watch this show (I don't know any, personally), but as a single bachelor w/ hardly sh*t to do on Thursdays, I've found the show very entertaining. I literally just got done watching the newest episode on demand (which prompted my search).
They've (starz) supposedly already re-upped it for a 2nd season, yet they're letting so many main characters die off so early on.
Starz is underrated man, I'll tell ya. Party Down & Crash were both outstanding series' that most of the country is cut off from. But I rant...
yes, i know that, i just saw the most recent episode (the one that's supposed to be on tomorrow)...
2 key characters die...crixus isnt' one of them..i won't spoil the rest
The Theoculese battle seemed a bit strange.I guess you could stab him through the abdomen without injury. The "Shadow of Death" had to have his head cut off apparently.
Really great series.I'm curious after the last episode if the small child was really killed.
Seems like he's gonna play a part a long time down the road.
