It's not an old lady issue. It's a rude, grumpy neighbor issue, it just so happens that two old ladies are on the same side . Even if kids are being loud how about you go outside and talk like a rational human being? Or how about you close your window instead of assuming that someone else who is breaking no law and frankly not even breaking some unwritten law of courtesy IMO should be the person to bend to your wishes. I mean, if you think they're being too loud (even though it's before midnight on a Friday night and they aren't doing anything illegal) what gives you the right to go yell at somebody?

I mean if it was 8 am on a Saturday and you or GBG were outside knitting too loudly or just being yentas and some neighbor came outside and yelled shut up because it's too early and he's trying to sleep in I think you'd probably think he was an *******.

and could you imagine if GBG's kid was outside being loud and someone came over and told them to be quiet.

GBG would blow a **** fit about other people trying to raise her kid.

The irony in this story is one for the record books.


things I love the most.

1) That one person's life is so much more important then a group of people that the would rather yell and threaten them then slide a window closed.

2) That someone who was complaining about yelling "too late" yelled to complain about the yelling at the same time they considered "too late"

3) The fact that someone wants respect so they show it by yelling and threatening kids. (Takes a big person to yell and threaten a group of kids)

4) The fact that someone doesn't want anyone telling them or their children what to do, however has no issue telling other kids children or parents how to raise their kids.

5) The fact that being a "good example" for children is teaching them that when someone is doing something you don't approve of that yelling and threatening them is the way to get them to do what you want.

6) That if your kid gets beat up, you go beat the other kid up to show them not to mess with your kid, because 74 year old women should be showing other peoples kids not to mess with their kids.

7) The fact that none of us can understand this concept because we don't have children, although in the original post nothing was said about children. Just one person, who is clearly better then the rest of humanity, being inconvenienced. So that person goes and inconveniences an entire GROUP of people.

8) That someone would keep adding things to the story time after time, to make it look like they were in the right after numerous people told them that they were more in the wrong then the kids.

9) The fact that I am the only person who thinks this way. When there have been atleast 6 other people (for a total of 7) who think its an absolute joke the way the situation was handled.

Respect more people here and you may not have as many infractions as you do. Then again, maybe you are proud to be an internet tuff guy I don't know. I bet if we were to meet at some bar, you would be totally different than you are on here. Kinda like Diddy. Then again, maybe not. The only point I was trying to make was the same one as meatballs. It's not something you can understand because you are not at this stage of life.

But the kids were doing NOTHING wrong. Right? Why is it wrong for me to mow my lawn before I take my kids to their soccer games? Hmmm....

It may be a fact that kids egg houses, but it's also a fact that that act is destruction of propery or vandalism which if the kids are caught, could lead to a big problem for them. Especially if they are caught in this town.

Why disrespect someone with whom you disagree with? Maybe if by having those disagreements and keeping them civil, both parties could learn something new. I disagree with alot of people, but it doesn't mean I don't respect them, and it doesn't mean that they have to agree with everything that I say, but I learn with every disagreement I have.
