It's been nearly a year since anyone has mentioned the software they use for Twitter (tweetdeck, etc). Are those still recommended or has something better come along?

I'm taking on a volunteer role that requires me to do some twitter-ing...

It's a good way to find out breaking sports news as it happens..

The 97.1 shows are following all the major sports sites and analysts, as I do, and almost simultaneously as I read about it it at work, they verify the source, and run with it (about a 5 min delay)..

use powertwitter as an add-on to firefox, I like it. it doesnt make you open a separate window, it just sticks with the same webpage and what not.

I've been using "Hootsuite" for the last couple days....its not a bad little platform if you have to use twitter as a job or are a "professional" Tweeter

use powertwitter as an add-on to firefox, I like it. it doesnt make you open a separate window, it just sticks with the same webpage and what not.

I don't use Firefox that often; it's not as good as it once was. I mainly use Chrome and Safari.

I will, I'm also going to give this HootSuite a try. I'm more interested in needing to efficiently tweet rather than efficiently read tweets. A lot of companies use HootSuite, and they are doing what I need to do.

I just downloaded Chromed Bird. It looked like the best of the Chrome twitter extensions. It's not that bad.
