This is a place to discuss all things white collar...The slick Ferragamo tie you just picked up, pain in the ass clients, goatees in the workplace, proper shoe care, how much you hate unicorns.

clients are the bane of my life.
they never know what's right for them.
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
I absolutely hate talking to people on the phone.
I dont like talking to clients, co-workers, solicitors
I dont even know why
i just am not a fan of phones
Learning Taco Bell meat is not meat is like learning that cigarettes are addictive
Protecting client wealth and saving companies are two completely different things...it can be a tightrope.
all young prosecutor's grow goatee's, i think it comes in a manual or something.
But instead of looking older, they look more stupid

For me, a major force facing every office in the white collar world is free food. When it's announced over e-mail, it's like a freakin vulture hunt to get the good bagels or the last remaining leftovers or the dessert someone brought in, or whatever.
The worst is when there are different e-mail servers, so someone sends out the e-mail noting "Free cookies in the lunchroom!!!" but it gets to certain people faster than others. So before you even get the e-mail you hear the pitter-patter of feet all over the office scrambling somewhere.
For those of you who have ever worked in a lawfirm, you can attest that the "free food rush" there exceeds any other office workplace.
Has anybody ever noticed the chicks at work that are the turbo walkers? Like ridiculous, fast paced walking in high heals that is just beyond necessary?
