I also highly reccomend Gabriel's Steak Hoagies on Michigan Ave in Ypsi. Best cheesesteaks around from what I've had.

If you want a killer sandwich, hit Dimo's Deli on W. Stadium Blvd in Ann Arbor, right next to Naylor Chrysler. Best sandwiches in town. I eat at Dimo's at least once a week. In fact, I had the roast beef club today, minus tomato, plus horseradish. Sandwiches are so damn big, I usually only eat half at lunch, then eat the rest later at like 6pm for dinner while I'm sitting at work, or bring it home with me.
Didn't he say Detroit? You not even in the metro/tri-county area...

Disagree, depends on what time you go. Got there at 5 on a Wednesday was out of there by 530. Obviously at 6 on a friday its going to be a little slow.

In Detroit, I enjoy the original Buddy's (6 and Conant)
I also enjoy Sala Thai in Eastern market...
Eph Mcnallys by the old Tiger stadium = tasty

The most recent place to blow me away was:
Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse...outstanding... - The Inferno

Capers, home of steak by the ounce.

The steaks are incredible... nothing comes close. There are two locations; one on Gratiot in Detroit and the other on Groesbeck in Mt. Clemens. Both are quality, but the Detroit location is better.

Rumor has it that they have great burgers, too. I wouldn't know. It is impossible to walk in there and pass on the steak.

Also, the prices are better than any steakhouse.

Used to do take out from Matter of Taste twice a month on average, till we opened up a mold covered pasta dish.

They lost us as a customer. They aren't dishing up fresh food, and at those prices?
Be careful in wishing for a bigger more inclusive government. The bigger it gets, the more it must look for funding in some pretty unusual places.

I went by thread title...TORT. that doesnt say anything about the zip code. I'm sure some members here will be up (or over or down or whatever) for the Buick Open, just trying to help those out, I suppose

I was just giving JDC48160 a hard time, plus you did preference your statement with something like "if your ever up here", so your cool with the geography police.
