Well, WCSX got new management and said they wanted change it up. No hard feelings, happens all the time. I was lucky. Metro Traffic has kept me on full time. Unfortunately, I am not on air except to fill in. Otherwise I produce the traffic for all our Ohio affiliates and I handle Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Toledo. Basically, I make phone calls, watch the maps of traffic flow, keep an eye on all the interstate cameras, and enter the data into computer systems. Radio and TV stations in Ohio then log into those computer systems to use the info. What goes in our computer systems is also sent to OnStar and GPS devices. Not glamorous, frustrating at times, but I'm lucky to have been with the same company since '04.![]()
