    Default Terry's Detroit "Bucket List"

...I didn't want to put this in "Today's Thread" - sorry. (got that out of the way)...

    Suggestion for Terry?....

Mine is: He should visit a famous Local Historical Mansion- i.e. The Ford House, etc.

As far as places to go, if you haven't been yet, you may as well hit up the Detroit museums. The science museum is pretty good, DIA is alright but I'm not all that interested in that, and the historical museum (same one Dale recommended?) has their basement modeled after an old Detroit downtown street.

Make sure you pick up at least one drunken, stumbling, hysterical woman at 2AM and offer to drive her somewhere.

    Oops, check.

Yep Morovia - know of it well.
Likely, Terry's been there, as when he and I were growing up in 1970's Detroit, a class field-day to the Detroit Historical Museum was fairly common, in that era.

Terry's gotta check out the Dakota Inn. Of all the bars in Detroit, this is a Detroit icon!

    Default Pistons courtside

I think it would be cool to sit courtside at a Piston's game before I kick the bucket. It would be a good opportunity to have a beer with Kid Rock and hear Racheed yell out "ball don't lie!"

Although it's but an abandoned shell now, still, I am attracted to such old historical and architectural Detroit buildings....

I have snooped around down there taking pictures at the 'ol Depot, and other abandoned sites.
    ...Guess I'm crazy like that!

We used to go down there once a month in the summer. Besides the dilapidated conditions, bums, and the chance you could get jacked...in a weird sense, its probably one of the most beautiful places in the D.
