Open up 1 more scolly. He is trying to get rid of the Tommy A. boys. Next up Wright, Gibson and Sheppard those 3 are not good at all.

Just another one of Tommy's borderline Division 2 players he gave a Division 1scholarship to (It's amazing he was able to steal all those guys from Ferris State and Michigan Tech). Might hurt a touch in the short term but much better off for the longterm with the extra scholarship.

You have a lot of faith in Bielin's recruiting. I'm not sure why but I'd venture to say that there aren't gonna be too many more studs in the state that JUST WANT to go to UM like Manny.

I dont think he is trying to get rid of Amaker guys. Smith was skipping class and didn't really seem to care to do what he needed to do. I thought from his freshmen year he could be pretty good but obvioulsy did not work out.

Not really saying anything about his recruiting but more his system. He needs guys with a certain skill set that fit his coaching style and that doesn't mean he has to pull in 5 star recruits (although I wouldn't mind it if he did). The guys that have gone didn't really fit and most likely should have playing in the MAC at best. Originally Posted by Youngin
