He's still got a ways to go and being injured and paired with an old Shaq has stunted his progress.
    Come on Youngin....

Let's keep it real here. DWade is a top 3 SG in this league. Unlike some other SG's he has the ability to play the point more effectively than other converts or those required to do so in game situations. While all players are evolving........his game is complete.

He has not been overrated by any means.

Too bad he has 4 garbage players around him at all times, and that includes Shaq.

I'm referring more to his ability to carry a team by his lonesome. Yes his game is tight, but I wouldn't call it complete yet because that 19-21 ft jumper could be better. I like his game but I'm saying that with what they have with him and Shaq either being done or conserving what he has, he honestly isn't the Kobe or AI with Phila type that can keep a horrible squad hovering around .500. He still needs to add a few more moves and better that J to reach that level.

yeah his game is far from complete, and from what i've seen of him and the injuries he's had so far in his short career, there's a really good chance he could have a very short shelf life if he doesn't adjust his game. This is a guy who takes a pounding on a night in and night out basis going all the way back to college. The punishment he's taken so far is going to catch up to him fast if he's not careful.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

I gotta take a look and compare surround casts that AI and Kobe have had, but come on. Quinn, Wright, Barron. Indeed Haslem and Davis are decent, but pound for pound, this is a weak team as constructed. Perhaps weaker than what AI and Kobe went to battle with.

I will return back to this topic after some research.

As weak but not weaker. We're talking either George Lynch, Aaron McKie or Dikembe Mutombo being the next best player with AI for many years and before this season since Shaq left and Kupchak traded Caron Kobe's next best player has been Left Hand Only Lamar Odom to go with the likes of B. Cook, Sasha V, Chucky Atkins, Kwame, Chris Mihm, Laron Profit, Mo Evans, Von Wafer, Kareem Rush... It's been tough, real tough being a Laker fan!

Dear God, that is atrocious. When you actually look at those names it makes me realize just how ridiculously good Kobe is to get that team in the playoffs every year... and in the Western conference no less. Any other player and that team would be lucky to win 30 games a year. How does Mitch still have his job?
