Joe has done a phenemonal job, given the circumstances and otherwise. But with Davidson being old school, there aren't a lot of owners that don't at least approach the threshold. If it costs you a couple mil to get a player that would greatly improve your chances of winning a title, especially being so close, who cares if a team gets less than a couple hundered thousand if its allocated through all the teams? Hell, even Donald Sterling spends money now

Indeed they were, but with his off the court issues, and still questionable moves....Such as the hiring of Larry Brown. You can't overlook the fact that have not won, and things likely will not get better with their cap issues.
