I had Berrian last year, and got him late again this season. I really like him as a WR and yes his only real downside is Rex. For where he is going in drafts, he is a true bargain. Originally Posted by cmuspmed
Rex does seem to target him alot, especially on deep balls and in the red zone. I think the mistakes that Rex makes are over-emphasized, from Berrian's standpoint. I don't care if Rex fumbles and throws a bunch of picks, because it just means that he will throwing more to catch up...ie, the Arizona game last year. I see this as no different than Farve impacting Donald Driver's value, because Farve throws a ton of picks too.
Also, I have no problem if the Bears every wise up and insert Griese as the starter.
