The same was said last year, and the year before that..The talent cupboard is bare right now too....

    here's the schedule:

    09/01/07 vs. UAB W
    09/08/07 vs. Bowling Green W
    09/15/07 vs. Pittsburgh W
    09/22/07 at Notre Dame W
    09/29/07 at Wisconsin L
    10/06/07 vs. Northwestern W
    10/13/07 vs. Indiana W
    10/20/07 at Ohio State L
    10/27/07 at Iowa W
    11/03/07 vs. Michigan L
    11/10/07 at Purdue L
    11/17/07 vs. Penn State L

looking at that schedule they will SHOULD be around 7-5! They have ND's number and they should've won last year against ND. Once there schedule it's late OCT it's not easy. they have to go columbus which is not a easy place to win then travel to Iowa which i'll give them the W because I really don't know what to expect from Iowa. MSU will battle Michigan but in the end I think Henne,Hart,Mario,Arrington will prove to be too much. Then they travel to Purdue which they have an experience QB and two good Wr's. MSU will probably lose a game they shouldn't lose so they could lose Indiana or Northwestern and win a game they shouldn't like beating OSU or Michigan. or they'll start winning then lose a game and then collapse.

The two in red might be a stretch.

I'm giving my boys in green .500 at best.

JLS coming in w/ Bobby's kids > Dantonio coming in w/ JLS kids

Looking at MSU future schedule next year MSU makes a trip to play CAL! Question is it going to be a Home-Home Seris which in 08 MSU goes to CAL and then CAL comes to MSU in like 09 or sometime in the future?

ND is a big swing game, IMO. I predict a 2-6 B10 record. Another win in South Bend makes a 6-6 record and we go bowling to some random dot com bowl.

Cal came here in '02 (the beginning of the end), so this is probably the return of a home-and-home for that.
    Check back later

I see! IF I was an MSU student/alumni I would make a trip to Cal next year see that game! I bet Mike V gets tickets for that one.

Hey Mike - thanks for supporting the program

so you think they will win at least 6 games, I wish I was as hopefull as you, or that I was drinking more of the Spartan-Aid. I see 6 wins as the most they win, unless they steal a game somewhere. Oh yeah and I'm now in 10+ years for buying tickets - no problems with the ticket office.

MSU has ND and the so-called "genius" number should've beated them last year and with ND replacing that so-called god like talent in Quinn and Samjarda. I think MSU will beat ND this year.

The only one I disagree with is at Iowa. Even if we don't know what to expect from Iowa, the game is at Kinnick Stadium. Besides, Dantonio is trying to play the same style as Iowa. Do you really think that MSU is going to beat Iowa at their own game? Nope.
