Default Sammy Sosa Hits #600 vs..............

    The Cubs...

Just watched it live on WGN..

As much as I loved him, and for all that he's accomplished, he's much skinnier....

While he's NEVER been really implicated like Bonds and McGuire, he floats in the same boat. Plus homeboy basically corked the bat, IMO, because he went off the juice and wanted to maintain the same stats without anyone noticing the dropoff.

Anyways 600 is damn impressive, and it must feel good to get against the old team.

BTW, they put on a big show in Texas at the game for #600..

That puts him 5th ALL TIME:

    Hank Aaron = 755
    Barry Bonds = 748
    Babe Ruth = 714
    Willie Mays = 660
    Sammy Sosa = 600

    Not bad ****ing company.....

The strange statistic is that he was actually the second fastest to get to 600 in number of at-bats.

Since he has never been caught, implicated, or proven to do roids, should he be given a pass?

McGuire had the andro, Bonds w/ balco, Palmero was caught, Giambi admitted it, as did Conceco..

Sammy = nothing other than body growth..

Yeah, his legs looked like tree trunks in the past, which was where all his power came from..

He's almost come full circle as the skinny kid w/ jerry curls that started with the Texans..

They just showed his first ever HR...... It was off Roger Clemens..

Then the showed #500, and he's actually about the same size as he was then.....

As goblue said it's just like Pudge's weight loss.
No pass, just treated the same as someone like Pudge.

He's going to have a stigma attached to his career always. Maybe not quite as bad as Bonds of MacGuire but he should. Still impressive nontheless.
