Left the office early to watch Tottenham/Chelsea.

Arsene Wenger made one of the stupidest manager moves I've ever seen. Oxlade-Chamberlain, only 18, was playing unbelievable and had already set up one goal and nearly missed one himself until Wenger pulled him for Arsenal's equivalent of Brandon Inge. Five minutes later, the substitute gets burned, Manchester United goes up 2-1 and closes the door on the game.

Arsenal stole 3 points in Anfield today, made bigger by the Chelsea loss. The Gunners are now 3 points ahead of The Blues for fourth place in the Premiership.

And what can you say about Robin Van Persie? 44 goals in his last 44 EPL games. Remarkable.

    RVP has been amazing.

Liverpool is a joke. All that money spent on guys who just don't come through. Carroll should give money back he's been so bad.
The only guy that really stands out for me on that club is Kuyt. He makes some bonehead moves some times, but he plays hard, and runs through tackles.

Outside of Gerrard and Kuyt, Liverpool is awful. Seems like they have a bunch of gritty, aging players with very little skill or athletic ability throughout the midfield. Suarez is talented, but he's not a #1 striker. He's much better as the #2, like he was in the World Cup. Hate his style of play... Something about those South American players that scream for fouls as they're go down instead of trying to play through it... That penalty today was a class example. He could have had an open net, but instead he decided to dive and draw the PK.

I agree, but I'm pretty down on Gerrard as well.

Suarez has so much talent, but he spends so much time whining that he misses opportunities.
I don't think it's just a South American problem, but they certainly have the most players who utilize that "strategy".
