One thing you might want to try at night so they can sleep better:
Put Vicks on the bottom of their feet and put sock on. I'm not sure why or how it works, but my kids sleep all night long when I do this

yeah you're probably right, I just know that Strep is going around pretty bad over here and on the news last night they were saying that two things to watch out for was violent cough and lack of energy (among other things)

That's miserable!

i know we went through it last year.......and actually we did the vicks on the bottom of his feet thing too....that worked for his nap but not for sleeping through the night.

no, i think you are right

being the bad parents that we are, we didn't even checked to see if he had spots back in his throat.......but now that i think about it, it was about this time last year when he got sick

'Tis the season...

My 4-yr-old has a fever of 102.3, is coughing, and is achy. Sick 4-yr-olds are not fun.

fever, sm'ever

Today I met the assistant principal at the middle school. Seems they don't like pushing, shoving and fights, and so he tells me my son was in a fight, some kids broke up the fight & my son decided he wanted another piece of the other kid so he went back for some more.
Here are the results:
my son - sore/swollen right hand and a shiner on his left eye
the other kid - bloody lip and nose

oh and the kicker is my son gets (errrr I mean has) to stay home from school tomorrow.....mrs. fairway is pissed beyond nuclear, since this is a way bigger punishment for her than for him.

I say put 14 ounce gloves on them and let'em have at it

...mrs. fairway wasn't thrilled with this comment either.
