First off AC, I caught that joke, but because this a children update thread, I'll deal with you later.
As for Little C from the Big D, he is days two weeks shy from 11 months. He is not walking yet, but I fault the mother pinning him up in the playpin for that. Since I have forcefully made her let him play on the floor, he is crawling fast as hell and trying to walk, so I am hoping in a month or so it might happen. Last time we took him to the peds, he was 31 inches and weighed 23pounds. Right now he is going through the throwing a fit stage if he can't do or get what he wants. He has about 12 teeth and a head full of head. I can't wait until he saids Ma-Ma, because right now Da-da is all he knows how to say. He occasionally repeats me and one day he heard me say **** and he said it, but hasn't said it since. He also occasionally say dop, which is stop. When I turn on rap music I taught him to throw his hands in the air and he hops up and down, and shakes his head like he is saying no.
Last but not least, he is macking the ladies with his gerberish, I can only wait to see what he does with English to the ladies.
BIG C is like BASF, I don't make the product, but I make the product better!!!
Ooh, I LOVE this idea! Tyler will be 19 months next week. As of his 18 month Dr. appt, he was 35 inches tall and 33.5 pounds...that is off the growth charts for both height and weight! He is doing great, and is at an age were he is really fun to be around.
He is in the middle of this volcabulary explosion, where it seems like he is learning a new word every day. He can tell you animals names--he'll look at a picture and tell you what animal it is and what sound they make. He can't say all his colors yet, but knows what they are and correctly identify them when you ask him which is blue, red, yellow, etc. And he knows probably 25% of the alphabet. Still working on that one. He loves, loves, loves his books. He is content to "read" books all day if I let him. And he loves to play and chase our dogs around.
He has the best personality. Very laid back and happy all the time, but I can tell the 2's are fast approaching, as he is practicing his temper tantrums. He HATES not getting his way. Hmmm, I wonder where he gets that from?
Here's a pic of him from Christmas:
GBG - Tyler looks like a happy kid!
Mine are a bit older. Daughter is turning 9 this month and acts like a teenager already. What a mouth on her!
My son is 5 and has already been suspended from school. He has had a lot of adjustment issues, but has been doing much better lately. He is bigger than the other kids and pays the price I think.
CanAM cup returns to the USA!
My daughter will be 6 months in a couple of weeks. I can't wait because she'll start doing cereal. She's starting to to try out her voice with a blood curdling scream now and then.
i was going to post a picture of my son, but i'm too damn stupid to figure out how to post it........ i put the picture on my desktop for a CD so the picture doesn't have a http address, is there a way to post it?
