Thanks man, but I think I'm going with that Panasonic at Costco. A bit more but I believe overall better sound and picture.
HERE'S THE BIG PROBLEM THOUGH!!!
When I had the basement done, the guy used metal studs, as they bartered with me and used what was left over from their commercial carpentry jobs. Now I need to hang a 28 lb tv on an articulating arm mount that weighs around 16 pounds. It's a mount with 3 holes, so if I am able to hit a metal stud in the position I want the TV to go, I wonder if I use 3 heavy duty toggle bolts, that will hold the pull weight of that. I really don't want to have to build a plywood deal to the wall and then mount to that. My question also is, would 3 EZ anchors into the sheetrock each rated at 100 pounds, support that situation? It's not the vertical weght, but the fear it would pull out.
SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!

Okay, I bought the Vizio, but a DIFFERENT ONE!
I went to Costco today, fully intent on buying the Panasonic, $479 and $39 for HDMI cables, and then the guy working there says, "Dude, your timing is pretty good. A customer bought this, got buyer's remorse and returned it unopened." It was a Vizio, 1080P 32" and it came with a 6 foot HDMI cable! And it was the only one, so they "DISPLAYED ONLY" it and gave it to me for $450 (originally $530). Now that it's in the crib, it looks as good as the Panasonic, except that AT&T only broadcasts in 450 P! And I don't have HD service yet, nor a BR player. Crap! I really want to watch something in that 1080 so my wife doesn't think I"m more of a nutjob than she already does. If the Wings weren't playing, I'd do a VOD of a HD movie.
Anyway, hope this Viz works out.
GO WINGS!

I would love to get one of these nice TVs, just need to wait for the prices to drop some more.
some cableco's provide HD for the local channels through QAM, which you might be able to get by plugging in the tv to the cable jack straight in the wall (without the cable box). I know Comcast provides this.
now sure how uverse works though
either way no matter what you do, you're not going to get 1080p from anywhere except upscaling dvd players, bluerays, xbox 360s, etc... I think 99.9% of TV isn't in 1080P yet
