So I hit up Founders..Its a fantastic place!! The double trouble IPA is a great beer...
Went to the B.O.B after..That is a different place..Its in a basement of a building with 5 floors that have 5 different places, like restaurants, clubs and stuff..Everyone was in suits and stuff..Was a little to uppity for my taste..I had their Hopsun which is a very good summer beer..I didnt really care for any of their other beers, but it was a real friendly place.Just a little to "classy" for a brewery imo..
After that went to Hopcat..Very cool bar with a ton of beers on tap..Their own selection was very small and they ran out of Hoppopotamus IPA which was the only one that I wanted to try (they only had like 4 of their own beers)...This was more like a beer bar with a great selection than a brewery...Its a place I would go again

If you're in Ludington, MI check out the Jamesport Brewery in town. They have a bourbon barrel aged smokey porter that is incredible. The IPA is pretty good, too.

Had a Jolly Pumpkin Dark Dawn Stout during the Tigers game: dark cherry, lots of natural carbonation...I am a big fan. Just cracked a Stone Self Sublimely Self Righteous. I don't think I ever had this and was actually expecting a typical IPA, but it is apparently a Black IPA. It is actually a lot like the Dark Dawn Stout in that it's dark appearance does not match it's sharp taste.
