Just hit Dragonmead Brewery in Warren for the first time yesterday. I've picked up bottles of Final Absolution in the store before and really enjoyed them so thought I'd try it out. Not a whole lot of food options, mainly appetizer type stuff - nachos, cheese sticks, jalapeno poppers, etc., but the beer was outstanding. Looked like they will also let you bring in your own food if you want as I saw one group had some wings and pizza delivered.

They will. I've been before and brought BBQ from Lazy Bones.

Going to a wedding in Traverse City this summer and will be stopping at Shorts on the way. I am very excited to hear good things. Their beer is really good. What a lucky thing for them to even be around right now, yet alone thriving.

Get there early. It gets very crowded and it's seat yourself. It's very casual. You go up to the bar to order food and beer. The pizza is excellent and they had live music.
