They had to have been watching and waiting until there wasn't anyone else outside. I was on the phone with my brother, had been for about 5-6 mins. I didn't even realize there literally wasn't anyone else out there. There is usually a bunch of foot traffic out there so they had to be watching and waiting for the right time.
I just hope my phone locked in time before they could get into it, with the pass lock they'll have to reset it before they can get back in.
