You'll think I'm lying when you read this but I promise you this is 100% truth. There is a lady who still works here now who was driving somewhere on I-75 and found a stray dog. She put it in her car because she didn't want it to get run over. She takes the dog home with her, gives it a bath and I swear to you she said it slept with them that night along with her other two dogs(in their trailer in a local down river community near the Ohio border).

Nothing wrong with this until the sleeping in the bed the night she picked it up off the streets. The dog could have parasites.

i have 2 dogs, and they sleep on the floor. the second you start letting your dog on your bed to sleep, you lose your Alpha status.

We let the little dog in bed with us. No greyhounds in our bed unless it's freezing cold like last night. (We have three dogs)

I forgot to mention she also has a husband. He was on board with this too.

Very true. It's good for the dog to have their own space as well, be that a cage or a dog bed.

Honestly... I've picked up animals before, but I'm extremely apprehensive about even letting them in my house until a vet has checked them out. (I almost always find someplace to take the animal within hours of a pickup)

Some people have no sense.

I threw that in because the reader will then understand the type of people we are dealing with. Originally I had forgotten about that fact. I figured I needed to add that because people would have thought I was just making **** up. They now live in a house.

I said on the spectrum... I'd say mild instead of extreme. The difference is that I'm not bat sh!t crazy.
