I do get the long distance/kids/pictures thing though. Beyond that, GTFO, it's stupid.

Number 1, the amount of people I've reconnected with. Plus it's an easy way to start to get to know someone you just met. Also it's an easier way to keep in touch with some of those "tier two" friends that you only see every few months but you enjoy hanging out with them when you do get the chance.

I like some of the private group functions, and the ability to goof around the way I like to goof around.

As I've said ad nauseum, how you use it makes all of the difference in the world. I don't put up with people that post a bunch of stupid bull****. I delete people and ignore requests from people that I don't give a **** about regularly.

Somehow I managed to get a sinus infection, even though I have no head cold symptoms at all. No stuffy nose or any of that stuff, just incredible sinus pressure and pain. I couldn't sleep the last two nights. Went to the doctor today and got scripts. I was actually supposed to work today, and I had to call off my jobs because of this cold. I'm taking a tylenol 3 and passing out for the rest of the day.

On the plus side, I got to talk to the doctor about my thyroid health and he's going to order me up a bunch of extensive tests. I will say that since he upped the meds last week I've dropped almost 5 lbs.

On a pain in the ass note, there's a lot of door to door ass munches going around trying to sell me bath tub surrounds and vinyl siding. I wish they'd all go away.

I'm sitting in a plastic surgery center and waiting to meet a doc... When an in-office commercial pops up on their tv advertising Otoplasty for children. The tag line is: help your child have a life free of teasing and ridicule...
