Veggie pizza burger, no bun, on a salad, at about 11:30. Need to go for a run, but am already feeling hungry. Do I eat first, then work out or vice versa? I'm leaning toward eating something little.

    Eat, then don't run.

Plus I get to have a martini? I'm sticking with you for "what's for lunch?" guidance from now on, Biff

I'm chasing that Subway sub with a bag of Act II popcorn. I could eat 7 small meals a day. (Still weighing in at 166)

I'm with you on the small meals approach. The trick is to not get overly hungry, or then you make crappy food choices.

Will you follow up the popcorn with a 3 p.m. caffeine run? I always need some more caffeine in the afternoon after the morning java boost has faded.

I have caffeine running through my IV drip 24 hours a day

I don't do caffeine - none at all unless it's a small amount in some chocolate or whatever.

I am not worthy . After my third child (in three years), I decided caffeine was my friend unless the neighborhood was cool with me falling asleep at the wheel.

So what sort of sodas do you drink? I think Sierra Mist, 7-Up, etc...are pretty lame non-caffeinated drinks, so what do you usually have? Juice boxes, lol??

Sometimes, but my son gets pissed.

I just drink diet caffiene free stuff, of which there is a ton of on the market, or bottled water, or if I drink a sugared pop it's caffiene free Pepsi, Coke, or Tropicana Twister pop, Hawaiian Punch, whatever.

Edit - I like Sprite / Sierra Mist

I only drink diet, both caffeinated and non-caff alike. I recently tried Diet Sierra Mist, and I liked it.

The verdict is in: I ate a piece of string cheese and now i'm off to the races (if you count the fact I"m slower than the turtle and still call it a "race")...
