But I know, in your opinion his body change is just age and he can still be dominant at 43 years old because of his dedication and preparartion
Nolan Ryan must have been on the Juice as well....Randy Johnson is old so he must be on the Juice as well...Age has nothing to do with being dominate...

Ive been saying this for awhile...I think Clemens is one of the biggest culprits of the steroid era....I think there was a 4 year span from 93-96 where he was just average...something like 40-39...that was a huge reason the Red Sox were willing to let him go because they thought the "power pitcher" had lost it....

suprise, the steroid era hits and Clemens career takes off again...hek, Clemens had one of the bigger roid rages on the biggest stage in sports when he threw that bat at Piazza...I love how that has slipped from everybody's mind

I don't think this is an accurate statement..

1.) He pitched just fine in the Baseball Classic at the beginning of the season. He wasn' hiding, he was right out front throwing the ball. (which by the way -- Barry didn't do)

2.) I think the majority of the "rich players" have been well beyond the simple
anabolic steroids for quite sometime. Only the poor and under educated and young players are still trying to catch on using simple steriods. The smart, educated and RICH players are using HGH, and there is no risk of getting caught. They don't have to take time off to adjust, they just keep right on doing what they are doing.

One of the things that first gets mentioned with Barry is how his head changed size. You can "build" your arms, "build" your chest.. but how do you "build your head".

I realize over time that people's body changes... but if you examine this series of pictures, I think you'll see that Roger's body and Barry's body changed basically the same way. NOW -- Barry obvisously worked his arms more, but look at the size of both men's chest, rear, and head.

I mentioned this briefly in a thread a while back and it sure wouldnt surprise me. I wanted to vomit last night when one of the guys were interviewing Nolan Ryan and they were speaking of how Roger continues at his age and were talking about his determination and workout regime. I always have found the rocket very intriguing but those pictures dont lie. No normal human swells up like that without a little help.

Because he admitted it, apologized and the general public will accept that and move on.

The info and people who would have info on McGwire are still out there.

You're right people don't want to here about McGwire and Clemens but not because they aren't chasing records. It's because baseball fans would be HURT AND DISAPPOINTED upon reading that, but when it comes to Barry fans are either ELATED or pissed off and angry and willing to say he's stain the game.

    THAT'S THE ONLY DIFFERENCE!
Dont tell me I was not disappointed and Hurt by BB..He was my favorite player and that Hurt me to the point where I do not like him anymore..
There are alot of players who stained the game and should be outed not just Barry, but you just threw around names like A-Rod and Pujols which is rediculous imo.....I dont think Clemens did,but do I know? No.Again,he is anothe one of my favs and hope not to be disappointed again...

I'm not making accusations but let me say that I don't put anything past anyone. I'm not conviced that the older guys weren't aking whatever they could get their hands on before this stuff became so advanced. Gaining an edge is a part of sport. I believe that football players have always taken something, I'm talking as far back as the 50s. And I won't believe that if one group of athletes had something that helped heal and gave astounding energy to work out, practice and play, that other groups wouldn't try it out also.

Trust me I think steroids has been and will always be a large part of baseball. I'd roll with anyone being on SOMETHING. From amazing guys like Ryan to big guys like Reggie and Winfield. IMO the only guys I don't suspect are the Gwynns and Carews, guys I saw that weren't amazing in terms of power but seem to excel at the ART of smacking the ball aroyund the field to find the gaps.

i wouldn't be at all surprised if clemens ended up being guilty. it looks like a little more than just extra chicken wings to me. the guy seems to have a lot more muscle. the guy is pitching better than he ever has, and it's not like just he's being crafty like maddox. he's still blowing people away. he's making a similar late-in-career push that bonds made.

You can't possibly be serious !! Once NR turned 30's his numbers each year declined. He had one final highlight year in 89, but otherwise declined each year through his 30's.. and he dropped off the table in his 40's. Clemens is doing the opposite.

Dang, i must be on steroids, i put on 50 pounds since i was 18, sure its fat, but as you guys say with clemens, guys just don't plump up like that, give me a break, the guy got rich, the guy got fat, and don't say BB breaking the record is a convient excuse, why does race and attitufe always plays a factor when people do stuff bad, Michael Jordan has sold more things to "white america" but no one brings race then, but if Bonds is getting raked, its because its a black man breaking ruths white record,

Bonds is getting heat because he is breaking the HR record, MM and Sosa would be getting the same things if they were in that position, period, its not a convient excuse, just a fact
