    He suffered a gash to the head, two broken wrists and a broken leg. Expected to make a full recovery.

    I think I have...

    IIRC, I've seen it where the blinking yellow is usually in the left turn lane (and the green is for through traffic) - I think it's an improvement of the more common flashing red for left turns (instead of coming to a "stop" and then being able to turn left when there's no cross-traffic, this just allows you to turn without stopping when it's clear)...


    So in this situation, from what I gather, the Passat didn't yield to the car coming straight through the intersection before turning left...

    Yea, everyone runs through those flashing reds anyway on left turns.

    Patterson and his driver weren't wearing seatbelts? Who the **** doesn't wear seatbelts anymore?
