Do i think theyre the #8 team in the country? no.

but with the way these polls always work, this is about what i expected. Returning Sr Qb, experienced line and a lot of defensive pieces back.

Yeah it's to be expected really. You had a really young team last year that played well and beat big names at the end of the year, a hot coaching staff and a star. That's a recipe for being overrated.
I realize I'm putting this here for you to read... but please, don't talk about it.

I think a top 10 is to be expected, for a team bringing a lot back from a BCS winning team. They will fall after week 1, and all this pre-season stuff is just nonsense anyhow.

I dont see them falling much unless bama BOMBS them, I still think they are 10-11 after week one (barring a miracle in which they would likely jump to top 3)

Do we know who the starting defensive ends are on this team? Besides the guy who didn't play at all the last four years, do we know who the other tight end is on this team? Do we really expect Will Campbell to mysteriously become a good player all of a sudden? The closer we get to this season, the less optimistic I am.

I'm excited to see how Jake Ryan improves this year as that olb/de hybrid. He had a great sugar bowl and can only get better.
