I guess I never use stub hub for a basic tigers or Red wings game...

I will just scalp them or get them off craigs list in those situations. I always get them under face too. I don't want to pay an extra 25 when there are around 300 games a season between the 2 teams.

Hell, for the last 4 tigers games that I caught in Tampa, I just bought standing room tix at the gate for $7 and then sat in the 3rd row on the first base line next to the bull pin.

I reserve stub hub for big or exclusive events I guess...

They have adjusted prices. There was a story on Real Sports on HBO about the price of season tickets when the new Yankee Stadium and the Giants/Jets stadium was opening up. How those owners bumped the prices up (not just because they were new venues) but openly said, that they raised the prices because of the secondary market (Stub Hub). If someone is willing to pay 200% of the face vale for that ticket, obviously the market can then bare the price increase.

But it was also nuts that they were doing PSL's and all that for the Giants/Jets stadium, and long time season ticket holders were not renewing their seats because of it.
