    Good for prince.

2nd guy to ever win it twice.
5th all time in HR's in the derby.
First guy to win it in both League's.

Doesn't mean a whole lot but hey he's a Tiger.

I think Berman said it best, you gotta find ways to make this more exciting.

Distance challenges, targets, opposite field hr's, etc.

I think too many balls were taken / there was too much inconsistency in the "pitches" being thrown.... Can't they use a pitching machine instead?

yes of course there would have to be minor adjustments made between batters to meet their individual preferences, but I would think more consistent pitching would help the contest.

Also, they just need to speed up the whole thing- perhaps limit the number of balls they can take (if they're going to keep the pitching situation the way it is)

The whole thing stems from Cano not picking the KC Royal to be on his AL team for the HRD. Next year Price will be the captain and pick the team (I think), and I am sure he will have enough sense to pick a member from the home team.

Except he was the captain two years ago in Arizona, and instead of picking Justin Upton, he picked his teammate Rickie Weeks.

What was the rationale behind the "teams" anyway. Were they playing for some sort of charity. Seemed like a silly concept. If there was nothing to win as a team then it's even more Cano's fault for not choosing they Royal. What was there to lose if he didn't?
